Wellingborough: Articles: Former Z. Forscutt & Sons boot and shoe factory, Northampton Road

Established in 1860 Z. Forscutt & Sons were manufacturers of men’s, youths’ and boys’ medium grade, welted, staple-welted, stitched and screwed footwear and the company was known to be still trading in 1958. The factory has since been converted into apartments.

It is not currently known whether the factory building opposite Z. Forscutt & Sons was a shoe / leather or related factory.
