Northamptonshire County Council Archives and Heritage Services houses over 800 years of the county’s rich archival heritage at the Northamptonshire Record Office based at Wooton Hall, Northampton.

The archives cover all aspects of life in Northamptonshire and is free to access.

The Record Office holds an extensive array of collections including records held for several Northamptonshire Boot and Shoe companies (see below). A selection of images from the collection can be found here.
